Terms and Conditions

When you reserve a journey with Morocco Sand Land Tours, your acceptance of these terms on behalf of yourself and others using our services under your reservation is implied.

Booking Procedures & Payments:

Upon agreement on the itinerary and price, we will provide a detailed itinerary and invoice. Confirmation of your booking occurs once we receive a 25% initial deposit. We accept Visa, Master Card, PayPal, and bank transfers for payments. The payment schedule is as follows:

  • Initial Deposit: Approximately 25%
  • Balance Payment: To be settled locally with our staff:
    • For private desert tours, day trips, and activities: Payments in Euros, US Dollars, UK Sterling, or Moroccan Dirhams are accepted. Credit card or PayPal payments incur an additional 5% fee if done onsite before the tour.
    • For group shared tours, day trips, and activities: The balance is payable onsite before the tour in the aforementioned currencies.

Booking Changes:

We endeavor to accommodate any changes to your booking without extra charges. However, alterations within 15 days of your trip’s start date may not be feasible. Should you need changes, contact us promptly in writing. While we aim to avoid additional costs, we cannot guarantee this. If changes are unattainable, you may proceed with the original booking or cancel, subject to the cancellation fees outlined below.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations, please inform us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation fees depend on the notice period before your travel start date:

  • Private Desert Tours:
    • More than 7 days: Full deposit refund without fees.
    • Less than 7 days: Deposit retained as a cancellation fee.
  • Private Day Trips & Activities:
    • More than 4 days: Full deposit refund without fees.
    • Less than 4 days: Deposit retained as a cancellation fee.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to unexpected events. In such cases, we will refund any payments made, including deposits. However, we are not liable for additional compensation. Such circumstances include natural disasters, conflicts, riots, terrorism, fires, adverse weather, and more.

Special Requests:

Please communicate any specific needs (dietary, medical, wheelchair assistance, etc.) before booking. We will relay this information to our partners to ensure your safety and enjoyment. If we cannot meet certain requests, we will inform you before booking. Let us know any preferences (hotel locations, bed configurations, etc.), and we will strive to accommodate them. No compensation is provided if we cannot fulfill these requests.

Child Policy:

For the comfort of our guests, children under 12 are not permitted on shared desert tours and day trips. They are welcome on half-day shared activities like camel rides and quad biking. We reserve the right to refuse service without a refund if a child’s age is misrepresented at the time of booking. Private tours and day trips in Morocco are suitable for families with children.

Our Responsibility:

We accept liability for any discrepancies between your travel arrangements and our description, or if the standard is not reasonable. Compensation will be provided, up to the amount paid to us for that part of the arrangements, unless there was no fault on our part or that of our vendor partners. We are not responsible for personal injury, illness, damage, death, or loss incurred during your trip.

Travel Documentation:

You are responsible for having valid travel documents. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months upon entry into the country. Ensuring all passport and visa requirements are met is solely the responsibility of the tour participants.

Privacy & Confidentiality:

We are committed to securing your private and confidential information provided during booking. This information is used solely for reservations and shared with vendors as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip. By booking with us, you consent to the sharing of relevant information.

Complaints:

If you are dissatisfied with our service, please contact your driver/hotel/guide immediately for resolution.
